Financial support for Hyku / Samvera Developer Training Opportunity

PALCI and PALNI are offering an exciting funded professional development opportunity for open source software developers.
SoftServ, our Hyku Commons hosted service provider, will be hosting a series of training workshops intended to upskill developers on Samvera/Hyrax/Hyku platforms in order to support a sustainable and vibrant Hyku open source community.  As a part of that training -   PALCI and PALNI are delighted to offer a Hyku Commons scholarship for up to two individuals with nearly full financial support for the training registration fee.
Interested individuals should contact us with a brief bio and a statement of interest/impact (2-3 paragraphs) that includes:
1) information about your current role,
2) how you anticipate this type of training impacting your organization, and
3) the impact you anticipate to the wider Hyku and Hyku Commons communities.
4) Please also provide evidence of support for release time in writing (as appropriate, email confirmation is allowable) from your supervisor / chief library officer.
5) We ask those who apply to demonstrate support for attending with a willingness to pay $150 toward the training registration fee. PALCI and PALNI will support the remaining costs to attend.
